Once your product has been modelled, you can finally bring it to life in the Omi studio. Here's an article to help you control your product in the Omi studio.

Here, we'll give you a few tips on how to place your product in a scene.

Follow these steps:

  1. Choose the template of your choice and create your project. (e.g. SDB template)

  2. Choose your product, then click and drag it to place it where you want it in the scene.

💡 Omi Tips 💡

Once the product is in the scene, imagine it is on a table and you are holding it in your hand.

Your product will appear in the scene at its actual size, but it will not be properly centred or proportional to the size of the scene. You'll need to reposition it.

3. You have two options for centring your product:

  • Display the grid: Place your product in the centre of the red line.

  • or use tool number 6 and press the "centre" button `

4. Adjust the size of your product to the scene using the tool number 1

5. Use the cameras to see if your product is centred and positioned where you want it.

6. Adjust the position of your product in the scene.

💡 Omi Tips 💡

If a product is too close to the scene, its details will be very sharp. On the other hand, if a product is too far away in the scene, it will appear very blurred, particularly around the label.

And that's it, your product is well placed in your scene!
