Render Layers: generate your renders split into layers

Split your renders into separate layers for full control in post-production.

When generating a render, you can now choose to produce additional layers alongside the final image, separately for your Digital Twins and your assets. These layers can then be viewed and downloaded directly from the render, along with their masks.

To access the Render Layers settings, your subscription must include the Pro Workflow option. For more information, contact your Account Manager.

Generate a render with layers

  1. In the Studio, click Generate in the top right.

  2. Open Show advanced options.

  3. In the Layers section, choose a mode separately for your Digital Twins and your assets:

    • None: no additional layer is generated.

    • All in a layer: all elements in the category are grouped into a single layer.

    • Individual layers: each element gets its own layer, for maximum control in post-production.

Find and download your layers

  1. Go to the Renders section of your workspace or project.

  2. Click the relevant render.

    1. You can easily find these renders by filtering them using the search filters. More info in this article.

  3. In the render details on the right, find the Layers row and click See.

  4. A window displays a preview of the different layers.

  5. Click Download all: you will receive an email with a download link containing the .zip file, which includes all layers and masks in PNG format.

ℹ️ Recombining all the layers does not always produce a result identical to the classic render: some reflections or lighting effects may differ slightly between the two.

💡 Masks do not appear in the render list, but they are included in the downloaded ZIP.
