Batch render: generate all your packshots in a single click

Bulk-generate renders from the same scene by automatically swapping your Digital Twins (or bundles).

Written by Sunil Vyas

Batch mode lets you generate a render for each of your Digital Twins or bundles from a single scene. Set up your composition once (lighting, camera, objects..), then add the Digital Twin you want to include: each Digital Twin automatically inherits the properties of the original Digital Twin (position, scale, orientation) and Omi generates one render per Digital Twin.

Perfect for quickly producing a consistent series of packshots across your entire catalog while generating multiple aspect ratios in a single Batch render.

Activating Batch mode

Once your scene is ready (Digital Twin placed, lighting, camera and composition adjusted):

  1. In the toolbar at the bottom of the Studio, click on Batch.

  2. A window opens: select the Digital Twin in your scene that will serve as the reference for the Batch. Then click Apply.

💡 If you want to change the reference Digital Twin later, click on the Digital Twin name in the Digital twin placeholder section at the top of the right-hand panel to reopen the selector.

Adding Digital Twins to the Batch

Once in Batch mode, a mosaic of slots appears in the central area. At the top, the live preview shows the selected variant.

To add Digital Twins:

  1. From the left panel, click on a Digital Twin (or Object/bundle) or drag and drop it into the central area. A preview of the scene with this new Digital Twin appears instantly.

  2. Repeat for each Digital Twin or bundle you want to include in the Batch.

💡 You can also hold down the Shift key and tick the objects you want to add to the Batch directly, or tick an entire collection of Digital Twins to add it all at once. Learn more about Digital Twin collections.

Each added Digital Twin automatically takes on the position and proportions of the reference Digital Twin in the scene.

Adjusting a Digital Twin individually

Some Digital Twins may have different dimensions than the reference Digital Twin. If a Digital Twin is too large, too small, or poorly positioned, you can adjust it without affecting the others.

  1. Click on the preview of the Digital Twin you want to adjust in the mosaic.

  2. In the right-hand panel, the following settings appear:

    • Turn: horizontal rotation of the Digital Twin

    • Tilt: tilt angle of the Digital Twin

    • Pivot: rotation on the vertical axis

    • Levitate: elevation of the Digital Twin from the ground

    • Scale: size of the Digital Twin

These settings apply only to the Digital Twin in the selected preview and do not affect the other Batch variants.

⚠️ If a Digital Twin extends beyond the camera frame, a red border with the label "Out of frame" appears around the affected preview. Adjust the Scale or Levitate to correct the framing.

Removing a Digital Twin from the Batch

Hover over the preview of the Digital Twin you want to remove, then click the delete icon that appears.

Generating the renders

  1. Once all your Digital Twins are added and adjusted, click Generate in the top right corner of the Studio.

  2. In the window that opens, give your render a name.

  3. Click Generate.

You can also select multiple aspect ratios to generate several formats in a single Batch render.

Omi then generates one render per Digital Twin added to the Batch for each selected ratio.

💡 Advanced options: Naming tokens

You have the option to add "tokens" to the export name. These tokens allow you to automatically and dynamically name each generated render, making it easy to differentiate them. You can use:

  • Object name

  • Scene name

  • Ratio

  • Image count

  • Project name

  • Date

Download your Batch renders

Go to your Renders page (from your workspace or from your project).

Your Batch appears as a single item in the render list. When hovering over it, a small Batch icon is displayed to distinguish it from a standard render.

Click on it to open it: you will find the detailed render view, with all the Bulk renders listed at the bottom (one per Digital Twin) and grouped by ratio when multiple aspect ratios are generated.

To download the batch, click on the Download icon in the right-hand panel. You can then select your desired format:

  • PNG

  • WEBP

  • JPEG

  • TIFF (CMYK color)

  • Custom: allows you to resize your render to a smaller dimension and choose the format from those listed above.

You will then receive a .zip archive containing each render from the batch in the chosen format.
