Studio positioning tools

Learn how to position your Digital Twins in the Omi Studio in just a few clicks.

With Omi, you can easily center and align your Digital Twins in a scene using the positioning tools and their three sub-tools. The toolbar lets you control the properties of the Digital Twins in your scene, such as moving, resizing, tilting, and levitating them.

Summary


Step 1: Re-center your Digital Twins in the scene


Here's how it works:

  1. Click on your Digital Twin in the Digital Twins area.

  2. Once the Digital Twin appears on the screen, click on it to open the object menu on the right.

  3. Click on the following icon next to Align 👇

Here's how it works on video 👇

Your Digital Twin is now automatically centered in your scene.


Step 2: Align several Digital Twins horizontally

Here's the process to follow:

  1. Select several Digital Twins by holding down Shift while clicking on them.

⚠️ Note that these three icons appear once several Digital Twins have been selected.

2. Click on the icon next to ‘Align’ 👇

Your Digital Twins are now automatically aligned horizontally.


Step 3: Space several 3D models equidistantly

Here's the process to follow:

  1. Select several Digital Twins by holding down Shift while clicking on them.

    2. Click on the icon next to ‘Align’ 👇

Your Digital Twins are now spaced equidistantly.
