In Omi, you can organize your products into collections to easily find them within the studio. This allows for more efficient management of your products and makes navigation smoother during your various projects.

Table of contents:

1. Create a product collection

To create a new product collection, follow these steps:

  • Go to the "Products" section in the left-hand menu of your Omi workspace.

  • At the top of the page, click on the "Collections" tab.

  • Then click the "New collection" button in the top right corner to create one.

  • Give your collection a name and save it. It will now be visible on this page.

2. Add products to a collection

To add products to a collection:

  • From the Collections tab, click on the three dots in the top right corner of the desired collection, then select "Add products".

  • In the window that opens, you can add products by selecting them from the list. If you wish to remove an already added product, simply click on it again.

  • Once your selection is complete, close the window to update the collection with the added products.

3. Create sub-collections

You can also create sub-collections within your collections to further organize your products. Here is how:

  • From the Collections page, click on the collection where you want to create a sub-collection.

  • Then click on the "New collection" button at the top right of the page, and create one or more sub-collections as needed.

4. Your collections in the Studio

Your collections will then appear in the Studio's "Products" section, maintaining the same organization (collections and sub-collections) as you defined.

5. Who can manage collections?

All members of your organization can view products and collections, but only people with Admin or Owner roles can create, edit, move, rename, or delete collections.
