On Omi, each team member can be assigned one or more roles, depending on the level of access and responsibilities they need. These roles define the permissions available to each user on the platform.

Understanding these roles is essential to ensure secure workspace management, effective collaboration, and a clear distribution of user privileges.

Understanding roles and permissions

Multiple roles can be assigned to the same user. Each role grants access to specific features on the platform.

Here are the 8 types of roles available on Omi:

🔑 Owner

Default role assigned to the organization’s creator. Holds full permissions, can transfer ownership, and only one owner is allowed per organization.

💼 Organization Administrator

Has full control over users, settings, and configurations. Ensures security, governance, and smooth operation across the organization.

🧾 Billing Manager

Manages subscriptions, payment methods, and billing details, keeping financial information accurate and up to date.

🗃️ Content Manager

Approves, rejects, or edits renders; provides feedback and ensures final outputs meet quality and brand standards.

👩‍🎨 Content Creator

Generates renders based on provided guidelines and resources, focusing on creative output.

📦 Orders Manager

Places orders for 3D models, requests revisions, and edits order labels to ensure accurate project delivery.

®️ Brand Manager

Creates and updates brand kits, uploads brand assets, and maintains visual and strategic consistency.

🔗 Integrations Manager

Connects and maintains external tools and plugins (e.g., Photoshop, Figma, Shopify, 360° viewer…), ensuring seamless workflows.

How do I manage users as an Organization Administrator?

Step 1 - Log in to Omi

Step 2 - Click on the top left menu 👇

Step 3 - Click on "Organisation settings" 👇

Step 4 - Click "Members"👇

You can change the role of users by clicking on the button on the right of the screen.

There can only be 1 Owner per account. Only the Owner can assign his role to another user; and this is a definitive action.
