How do I render in PNG / without background?

Render your Digital Twin without a background, as a transparent PNG.

Use the Transparent packshot templates to render your Digital Twin without a background, as a PNG ready for your website and other platforms.

  • Transparent packshot: for most Digital Twins.

  • Transparent packshot (glass): for glass Digital Twins, such as bottles or jars.

Create a render without background

  1. From the Omi homepage, click Templates in the left-hand menu.

  2. Search for transparent packshot and select the Transparent packshot template, or Transparent packshot (glass) for a glass product.

     

  3. From the Digital Twins tab at the top left, drag your Digital Twin onto the scene. It is automatically centered on a transparent background.

  4. If needed, resize it: select it and use the Scale tool in the right-hand panel.

  5. To change the lighting, open the Lights tab and choose the light that best suits your Digital Twin.

  6. Click Generate at the top right.

Your PNG render is ready in about 2 minutes.
