Omi offers many preconfigured ratios for all major channels. If you need specific dimensions, you can create your own ratios and organize them into groups.

Accessing the ratio manager

  1. Click on the ratio name in the toolbar at the bottom of your scene.

  2. Select the Custom tab.

  3. Click Manage your ratios at the bottom of the list. A window opens displaying all your custom ratios.

Creating a ratio

  1. Click Create a ratio at the bottom right of the window.

  2. Enter the Width and Height in your preferred unit (Pixels or mm). The link button in the center locks a 1:1 ratio: both values will then remain identical.

  3. Give your ratio a Name.

  4. Optionally:

    1. Upload a Ratio icon (a thumbnail image that will appear in the list to help you identify it visually).

    2. The Save bleed zones option lets you save your bleed zones along with the ratio (for more info on bleed zones, see this article).

  5. Click Save.

Once created, your ratio appears in the Custom tab and can be selected directly from the Studio toolbar.

Organizing your ratios into groups

To streamline your workflow, you can sort your ratios into groups (for example: "Social media", "Print", or by user).

Creating a group

  1. Click Create a group at the bottom left of the window.

  2. Give the group a name and press Enter.

Organizing your ratios

  1. Drag and drop ratios onto the desired group in the list on the left.

  2. You can also reorder ratios by drag and drop within a group, so they appear in the order you prefer.

Updating or deleting a ratio

  1. Hover over the ratio in the list.

  2. Click the three dots (...) that appear on the right.

  3. Select Updating or Delete.
