Use Guides to align your elements pixel-perfectly, and Safe zones (Bleed zones) to simulate social media interfaces (TikTok, Instagram...) ensuring your products always remain visible in your posts.

Note : These outlines are purely visual aids and will not appear in your final render.

Enable and use guides and bleed zones

To access these tools, click the up arrow in the toolbar at the bottom of your screen, then enable Show bleed zone.

Rulers indicating the number of pixels on each axis will then appear on the left and top of your webview.

Add a guide line

To create a guide:

  1. Click and hold on one of the rulers.

  2. Drag your mouse towards the center of the image to position your line.

While dragging, an indicator shows the exact number of pixels separating your guide from the horizontal or vertical edges.

Add a bleed zone (Safe zone)

  • Click the small "+" located at the top left of the screen, between the two rulers.

A rectangle will appear in the center of the image. It automatically snaps to your guide lines and other zones, and can be adjusted in height and width (always showing the exact pixel dimensions).

By clicking on this zone, you can:

  • Change its color (red by default)

  • Rename it

  • Duplicate or delete it

As with the lines, you can add as many zones as you want.

Save your guides

Your lines and zones are only saved in "Custom" aspect ratios (they will be lost on standard formats).

To keep them:

  1. Click the ratio at the bottom of the screen.

  2. In the Custom tab, click Save.

  3. Name the ratio, leave Save bleed zones checked, then click Save.

More information on custom ratios/formats.

Export and import zones

You can also export and import your guides and zones in .json format.

To do this, from the toolbar:

  1. Click the small arrow.

  2. Click Export zone to export or Import zone to import.
