You must ensure that you hold the necessary rights to use generative AI models. Omi cannot be held liable for unauthorized use. For more details, please refer to our Terms of Use.

PhotoDrop allows you to place your 3D products into realistic environments whether uploaded, generated, or modified using artificial intelligence.

No matter which method you use, PhotoDrop automatically adjusts the lighting, shadows, reflections, and surfaces to create a consistent and realistic render.

You can then freely move your products, add accessories, or adjust scale, just like in any other scene.

How to Use PhotoDrop?

From your Omi workspace, click PhotoDrop in the left-hand menu.

You’ll then choose from several methods to generate your environment.

Import your own photo (with a visible horizontal surface) to place your product.

PhotoDrop automatically detects a placement area.

  • Upload a photo (PNG or JPG) from your computer

  • Select a project where the scene will be created

  • Select the product to place in the scene

  • Click Generate

Finalizing your scene in the Studio

After clicking Generate, a short loading time (about 1 minute) will occur before entering the Studio.

Once in the Studio, you can:

  • Move products and accessories freely

  • Adjust their size and position

  • Add other 3D elements as needed

⚠️ You won’t be able to adjust the camera or lighting, as these are automatically calibrated to match the generated scene.

When your composition is ready, click Generate at the top right of the Studio to create your final render.
