This article explains how to save an existing scene as a template in Omi, so you can easily reuse it as a base to create new scenes!
Here’s how to save a scene as a template and use it in your future projects:
1. From your Omi workspace, go to the Projects tab.
2. Select the project that contains the scene you want to save.
3. Click on the three dots next to the scene name and choose “Save as Template”.
4. Give a name to your template in the window that appears.
5. Click “Create” to save your template.
6. Find your saved scene under “My Templates” in the Templates tab.
Once your scene is saved as a template, you can use it the same way as other templates in Omi, allowing you to quickly create new scenes based on this template!
⚠️ All created templates are shared within your organization.
Once a template is saved, it becomes accessible to all members, who can use it as a starting point in their projects.
By default:
Only Admins and Owners can save scenes as templates and manage templates: modifying their information or deleting them.
Managers and Members can access shared templates, but they cannot create, modify, or delete templates.
