On Omi, every visual is linked to a project, which works like a folder. Each scene you create will be attached to an existing project, or to a new one that you create.

You can organize your projects however you like: by team, product line, use case… You can also create sub-projects to structure your workflow in greater detail.

The Projects Page

Accessible from the left-hand menu in your Omi workspace, the Projects page lets you browse, filter, and organize all your projects.

How to create a project?

  1. Click New Project (top right)

  2. Name your project

  3. Select a parent project to make it a sub-project (Optional)

  4. Choose its visibility:

    • Private: visible only to you

    • Public: visible to all members of your organization

  5. Click Save

Manage your projects

From this page, you can:

  • Sort projects: by name, creation date, or last update

  • Filter by status: Active or Archived

  • Filter by visibility: All, Public, or Private

  • Search by project name using the search bar

Click the three dots (⋯) to the right of a project to:

  • Rename it

  • Move it to another project (like a folder)

  • Add or remove it from bookmarks (for quick access from the sidebar)

  • Archive it

Project Structure

When you open a project, you’ll see its content organized across three tabs:

1. Scenes

This tab lists all the scenes associated with this project (and its sub-projects).

To create a new scene, click New Scene (top right).

For each scene (⋯ menu on the right), you can:

  • Rename

  • Move to another project

  • Duplicate

  • Save as a template

  • Archive

Available filters:

  • Search

  • Sort

  • Status: Active / Archived

2. Renders

This tab shows all renders created from scenes in this project or its sub-projects.

Features:

  • Click the cloud icon to download the render (choose format)

  • Use the ⋯ menu to:

    • Rename

    • Move to another project

    • Edit (post-production)

    • Generate a QR code for mobile download

Available filters:

  • Search bar

  • Sort

  • Render type: Photo / Video / Print

  • Approval status: Draft / In Review / Approved / Rejected

3. Projects (Sub-projects)

Create sub-projects here to further structure your production.

A sub-project works just like a regular project. It can contain other sub-projects, scenes, and renders.

Features:

  • Sort

  • Filter: Active / Archived

  • Search

Each project acts like a folder to help categorize your work. It groups all related sub-projects, scenes, and renders in one place.

Bulk actions

In each tab (Scenes, Renders, Projects), you can select multiple items at once to perform bulk actions:

  • Scenes: archive or move

  • Renders: download or archive

  • Projects: delete

💡 Omi Tips

  • Use bookmarks to quickly access your favorite projects from the sidebar.

  • Organize projects using subfolders to stay clear and structured—especially if you manage multiple brands, product lines, or teams.

  • Filter renders by approval status to keep track of project progress at a glance.
