In the Omi Studio, the Layers feature lets you quickly visualize and interact with every element in your scene, including objects, products, cameras, lights, and backgrounds.
Accessing the Layers panel
In the Studio, click Layers at the top left of the interface, below the Objects, Cameras, and Lights sections.
The left-hand panel will switch to show a hierarchical view of all the elements in your scene.
Layers panel structure:
The panel is organized into several sections:
Search bar
At the top, a search bar lets you quickly find any element by typing its name.
Camera
Displays the currently selected camera in your scene (e.g., “Overhead”).
Clicking it opens a quick selection window to switch cameras.
Its settings appear in the right-hand panel.
Lights
Displays two elements:
the active light (e.g., “Daylight”).
the HDRI environment (the spherical background that lights the scene)
Selecting either one opens a quick switch menu and shows its settings in the right-hand panel.
Template
This section shows fixed elements from the template, like the floor or background.
Clicking an element highlights it in the scene and shows its properties in the right-hand panel.
Object bundles
If you’ve created object bundles, each one appears here as a collapsible section.
For each bundle, you can:
select it (to highlight in the scene)
delete it
ungroup it
save it as a reusable group
Products and 3D objects
All individual objects and products added to your scene are listed below the previous sections.
For each item, you can:
select it → it appears in the scene with its settings (position, scale, texture, etc.) in the right-hand panel
click the eye icon () to adjust visibility (in the scene, in the render, or both)
click the trash icon () to delete it
