Room Template: Customize a living room scene

Create a customizable living room scene from scratch with the Room Template.

With Omi, you can customize the walls, ceiling, floor, camera angle, furniture, door handles, and lighting.

Step 1: Find the Room Template

  1. Click Templates in the left-hand menu.

  2. Go to the Start from scratch collection.

  3. Select the Room Template.

Step 2: What can you modify in the Room template?

Once you’re in the 3D Studio, you can customize the following elements:

  • Wall color

    1. Click on the wall.

    2. Choose a color or texture.

  • Ceiling color

    1. Click on the ceiling.

    2. Choose a color or texture.

  • Floor covering

    1. Click on the floor.

    2. Choose a color or texture.

  • Wall baseboards

    1. Click on the wall baseboards.

    2. Choose a color or texture.

  • Door handle

    1. Click on the door handle.

    2. Choose a color or texture.

  • Camera angle

    Adjust the camera angle to change the view of the room.

  • Landscape behind the window

    1. Go to the Lights tab in the left-hand menu.

    2. Click Reflections at the bottom right of the right-hand menu.

    3. Select the landscape you want to use.

    4. Click on the window panes.

    5. Hold down the arrow and move it from right to left to change the orientation of the landscape.

  • Furniture in the room

    1. Go to the Objects tab.

    2. Click Library.

    3. Search for furniture using the search bar or choose from the available furniture collection.

  • Lights

    1. Click Lights.

    2. Choose from the available options.

    3. To change the light orientation, go to Settings in the right-hand menu and use Turn or Incline.
