How do I start modeling my product?

I have a product to be modeled, how do I order it on Omi?

This step-by-step guide will help you place your modelling order with Omi and you can discover how to place an order on Omi step by step with the video below ↓

Summary


Step 1: Open the Products tab

  1. Click on "Products" in the menu on the left of your screen under the "Manage" tab.

  2. In the "New Product" section, select "Create".


Step 2: Name your product

  1. Name your product:

    1. Add text to "Product name" (50 characters maximum)

    2. Add your product reference in "Sku" (not mandatory)

  2. Click on "Next" at the bottom right of your screen


Step 3: Add your product graphics

  1. Add your product graphics:

    1. Your product labels

    2. The logo on your product

    3. Patterns and decorations (e.g. on a pouch or bag)

  2. Click on "Next" at the bottom right of your screen

You need to send us 🧾️ .AI or .PDF files of all labels and graphics on the product.

Step 4: Product reception

To model your product, we'll need to receive the product physically (recommended) or receive reference photos from all angles.

Choose an option below:

  1. Model your product with a physical copy (recommended): The address is displayed at this stage

    For your information, once your products have been modeled, you have 2 options:

    - Pick them up at our office (by appointment only)
    - Send a Chronopost return slip with pick-up at the office via chat or e-mail to your CSM.

    If your order has been modeled for more than three months, we have removed your products from stock.
  2. Model your product with photos:

  • Add product dimensions

  • Add 6 photos of your product from different angles

3. Click on "Next" at the bottom right of your screen


Step 5: Additional information

How would you like us to model your product?

  1. Select product status:

    1. Closed product: If it has a cap, do you want it on the product?

    2. Open product: If it's foldable, do you want it folded or unfolded?

    3. Other: If you require a specific model, please add a comment in the box below.

2. Add details about your product to help us focus on certain parts:

  • Particular elements: gold-plated elements, extra thickness, etc.

  • Position of certain elements (handles on a bag, direction of the cap, degree of inclination of a screen)

3. Import reference photos or product data sheets:

  • It will enable us to identify it when it arrives

  • It will enable us to determine the exact color you require.

4. Click on "Next" at the bottom right of your screen


Step 6: Confirm your order

At this stage, you'll be taken to a page with a summary of your order for a single product. If all the information is correct, click on confirm at the bottom right of your screen.


Step 7: Validate your basket

Once you have ordered all your products, validate your basket to start the modelling process:

  1. Tick the box in front of "I accept the terms and conditions".

  2. Click on "confirm" at the bottom right of your screen

Once all the elements have been validated by our teams, the modelling
times take around 2 weeks.
