What artwork files do I need to provide?
To create an accurate Digital Twin, Omi needs the original artwork files used to print or decorate your product packaging.
Please provide artwork for all visible graphic elements, including:
Front and back labels
Logos and text
Silkscreen printing
Embossing and debossing
Hot stamping
Inlays and other decorative elements
Example: For a bottle, we may need the front and back label artwork, as well as the artwork used on the cap.
These files allow Omi to accurately reproduce the graphics and details of your product on its Digital Twin.
Which file formats should I use?
Whenever possible, provide the original vector artwork files.
Accepted formats:
.AI - Adobe Illustrator
Vector PDF
.EPS
.SVG
Avoid using JPGs, PNGs, screenshots or scans as your source artwork when the original vector files are available.
Before uploading your files, make sure:
All fonts are converted to outlines
All linked images and graphic elements are embedded
This ensures that text, logos and packaging details remain accurate on your Digital Twin.
Prepare your artwork in Adobe Illustrator
Step 1 - Open your artwork
Open the original artwork file in Adobe Illustrator
Step 2 - Convert all fonts to outlines
Go to:
Select>Object>All Text ObjectsThen go to
Type>Create Outlines
✅ All text is now converted to vector outlines.
Step 3 - Embed all graphic elements
This includes linked images, illustrations, logos and other visual assets.
Go to
Window>LinksSelect the linked assets in the Links panel
Click the menu icon in the top-right corner
Select
Embed Image(s)
✅ All graphic elements are now included directly in the file.
Step 4 - Save your file
Save the prepared file in one of the accepted formats above.
✅ Your artwork is ready. You can now upload it when ordering your Digital Twin in Omi.
