Private templates are templates created specifically for your organization. This also includes templates created from scenes by members of your organization (more info in this article).

The template management menu lets you sort these templates into collections so you can find and use them more efficiently.

Accessing the management menu

  1. From the Templates page on Omi (the default page when you launch Omi), click the settings icon (gear wheel) in the top right corner of the page.

  2. A window opens displaying all your organization's private templates.

Creating a collection

  1. Click Create collection in the bottom left corner of the window.

  2. Give your collection a name.

  3. Press Enter to confirm.

Adding templates to a collection

  • From the All templates section (or from any other collection), drag and drop the template onto the desired collection in the list on the left.

A template can belong to multiple collections at the same time. When it does, colored tags with the collection names are displayed below the template name.

To remove a template from a collection, navigate to the collection, hover over the template and click the trash icon that appears on the right. The template remains available in All templates.

Renaming a collection

  1. Hover over the collection name in the left panel.

  2. Click the three dots (...) that appear.

  3. Select Rename collection to rename it.

Searching, sorting and filtering

From any collection or from All templates, you can:

  • Search for a template by name using the search bar.

  • Sort templates by: Manual, Popularity, Latest, or Updated.

  • Reorder templates by drag and drop when the sort is set to Manual : this order will be reflected on your Templates page.

From the All templates section, you can also click Templates not in collection in the top right corner to display only templates that haven't been assigned to any collection.

Using your collections from the Templates page

Once your private templates are organized into collections, you can quickly access them from the main Templates page:

  1. Next to the search bar, click Collections.

  2. Select Private.

  3. Choose the collection(s) you want to display on your page.
