For photo-realistic modelling, Omi employs a team of 3D Artists who custom-model each product. The average modelling time is 2 weeks.

Summary
Step 1 - Order your 3D model
Connect to the Omi app
In the left-hand menu, click on Products
Click on New Product (top of screen) to place order
Complete the brief as accurately and detailed as possible
You'll need 🧾️ .AI or .PDF files of all the labels and graphics on your product. See this article to find out which file formats are accepted.
Step 2 - Send the physical product
Once you've placed your order, the postal address appears, enabling you to send your products. We can receive and store your product in our Paris and UK offices.
The 3D Artist requires your physical product to guarantee total photorealism of your model including textures, materials and colours that would otherwise be lost in photographic references.
Unless otherwise specified at the order stage, your product will not be kept.
For your information, once your products have been modelled, you have 2 options:
Pick them up at our office (by appointment only)
Send a Chronopost return slip with pick-up at the office via chat or e-mail to your CSM.
If your order has been modeled for more than three months, we have removed your products from stock.
Unable to send the physical product?
In the case of a product launch, we can model it using the technical documents (such as specifications for the manufacturer) and corresponding graphic elements. We are also able to model from photos, provided that the photos are of high quality and true to life: we prefer neutral, white lighting, so that we can see the product in detail and from all angles.
Step 3 - Your 3D product is ready!
✉️ "Your product is ready": please note that our notifications will be sent to the e-mail address used to create the account and to place the order.
As soon as your product is modelled in 3D, you'll receive photos to inspect for validation in the Versions for approval tab. This article explains how to properly inspect the 3D model and provide feedback if necessary.
Step 4 - Validate your 3D model
Click on Approve.
Your 3D model will then be available in your Omi space for up to 48 hours.
Please note that once the product has been validated, any request for modification will require a new order and a surcharge will be applied.
