AI: Generate your own Textures and Backgrounds

Create custom textures and backgrounds in Omi using AI.

Generate personalized textures and backgrounds from a simple text description. Once generated, they can be applied directly to your objects or your scene.

1. Generate a Texture with AI

To create a custom texture:

  • Click on the relevant element in your scene (for example, a customizable object or the floor)

  • In the right panel, click on Texture, then on AI Textures

  • Click on Generate AI Texture

The generation window opens. (AI Studio).

  • Write your prompt in the field at the bottom of the window, then click Send.

Once generation is complete, the texture will appear.

  • Click Add to material library to save it to your interface.

The left panel of the window keeps a history of all textures and backgrounds you’ve generated.

💡 Omi Tips 💡

You can generate several textures in a row by clicking Generate at the top left, then writing a new prompt.

To delete a texture or background, simply hover over it and click the small X.

You can then close the window.

Your texture will now appear in the AI Textures tab.


2. Generate a Background with AI

To generate a background:

  • Click on the background of your scene

  • In the right panel, under the Image section, click on Select

  • Go to the AI tab, then click on Generate AI Background

The generation window opens. (AI Studio).

  • Write your prompt in the field at the bottom of the window, then click Send.

Once generation is complete, the background will appear.

  • Click Add to library to save it to your interface.
