Save lights and camera as presets

Easily create custom lighting and camera presets, and choose whether to keep them for personal use or share them across your organization.

Saved lights and camera presets allows you to keep the same consistency between each of your renders and scenes. Here's a quick guide on how to use them properly.

Summary

The custom light preset allows you to save the parameters applied on a light that you created.
Then, it gives you the ability to re-use it identically.


In order to save a light:


1. Click on the tab "Lights"


2. In the "Lights" tab, modify the parameters of your light and once it is done, save it by clicking on "Save" in the "light set settings" preset tab.


3. Name your light preset and save it.

4. You will find all your preset "Lights" in the tab "Presets".

​You can share your presets with your organization, for this :

  • Save your light preset

  • Below the name that you want to give to your preset, you will see displayed a button allowing you to share it or not.

Custom Camera Preset

The custom camera preset allows you to save the parameters applied on a camera that you created.
Then, it gives you the ability to re-use it identically.​

In order to save a camera:


1. Click on the tab "Cameras"


2. In the "Camera" tab, modify the parameters of your camera and once it is done, save it by clicking on "Save" in the "Save camera" tab.

3. Name your camera preset and save it.


4. You will then find all your preset "Cameras" in the tab "Presets".
